For anyone with an interest in birds of prey, our falconry one hour experience is the ideal introduction.
Following a short safety briefing, you will be introduced to one of our many species of owl.
 

Determined by the season (our experience days are available all year round) you will get to fly one of our owls, where you will be amazed at their agility and stealth.
 

Our expert falconry team will open up an insight into the reasons for owls silent flight and have the myths busted about all owls being either smart or nocturnal.
 

The second half of your one hour experience is dedicated to the intelligent hawk, both agile in flight and thought, these stunning birds will work the trees and any other convenient perch as it works with you like a loyal feathered dog…like the owl, it will be called to land on your gloved hand, where it will be given a small enrichment reward .
 

On the completion of the  one hour experience, you will be welcome to stay and enjoy a tour of the rest of the centre with an opportunity to see the rest of our amazing birds and learn about our education and conservation work…

• Our one hour bird of prey experiences are available 7 days a week at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 14.30pm

• Once you have completed your purchase of a " One Hour Bird of Prey experience " below, we will contact you directly to discuss a day and date to suit.

​

• Non participating guests are welcomed to join you (maximum of 10 non participating guests) at an additional fee of £15.00 per person which will be payable on arrival

 

• If you are booking an experience for a child under 16 yrs, they will be required to be accompanied by a full paying adult
