With a large collection of birds of prey at the centre, The Falconry Experience is a must visit for anyone with a passion for birds of prey.
The centre is situated next to the barn at Havenstreet steam railway, the friendly,dedicated team at the falconry experience centre hold years of experience in caring for and flying birds of prey, with the focus of their ethos being education through fun!
The Falconry Experience centre is home to a collection of owls, hawks, falcons, eagles and vultures where the care and welfare of the birds is the teams priority. The centre is renowned for the quality of its interactive flying displays, which take place daily on the green at Havenstreet steam railway at 11:40 and 13:40 (Weather permitting)
The centre is the only bird of prey centre on the Isle of wight where you can experience a thrilling one to one private bird of prey experiences, enabling you to encounter these amazing birds up close and personal.
Experiences
Enjoy a hands-on, close encounter with some of the stunning birds at the centre, learn about their character, speed and natural hunting ability, whilst flying the birds to your fist.
All of the bird of prey experiences are hands-on and interactive, to enable you to experience the thrill of flying a bird of prey.
The falconry experience centres private 'Experience' sessions are bookable in advance by appointment only.
